Weight gain? Tired all the time? Depressed? Thyroid imbalances have far reaching effects and can cause all of these common problems plus many more. Simple clues that we often take for granted such as feeling cold all the time, constipation, poor skin, headaches, PMS, dysmenorrhea, fluid retention, weight gain, anxiety/panic attacks, decreased memory and concentration, muscle and joint pain, or a low sex drive can all point to a thyroid that’s not quite working properly.
Most standard thyroid panels only look at TSH and T4. This is not enough to tell us whether the thyroid is functioning well or not. In this total thyroid screen, we look at the detailed picture and include the antibodies that are indicated in Hashimoto’s disease.

- Free T4
- Free T3

- Thyroid Antibodies (TPO & ATG)
As this is a blood test, you will need to organise a phlebotomy appointment to have the bloods taken. Alternatively, we can organise this for you.
